Czestochowa is the town in south Poland with over 250000 inhabitants and one of the main pilgrimage centers of the world, with a huge cultural and national heritage. We do invite all school librarians to cooperate. Our e-mail is given below.

The First Librarians Forum of the Silesian Province in Czestochowa, that was organized in City Hall on 17th March, 2005,
The Second Librarians Forum of the Silesian Province, that was co-organized with Polish School Librarians Society Bielsko-Biała Branch in Administation Academy in Bielsko-Biała on 23rd March, 2006,
The Third Librarians Forum of the Silesian Province, that took place in Culture City Hall in Katowice-Szopienice on 22nd March, 2007. see here

Other activities:

We take care about school libraries of Polish schools in Czech Republic (Karvina, Mosty u Jablunkova).

Esztergom/Ostrihom-Parkany/Sturovo Project - documentation of Polish paths in European Union. The name of the poject is connected with Polish king, John Sobieski the Third statue, that is built near the Danube bank in Esztergom, Hungary.

Bookcrossing action in Poland and other countries of EU, i.e. Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary from 2004.see here

Four actions in Poland connected with health promotion i.e.: The librarian with the heart, 2005, Key to good health - the library, 2006.
